George Zimmerman

He’s not an entertainer but the case made national headlines and the verdict it brought about a tidal wave of emotion for so many. Monday after noon George Zimmerman was charged and taken into custody for allegedly pointing a long-barreled shotgun at his girlfriend, both Zimmerman and his girlfriend placed a 911 call. When Samantha Scheibe called 911 she yelled to the dispatcher that Zimmerman had put a gun in her face and she stated that he knows how to do this, he knows how to play this game. According to Scheibe the confrontation that lead to her being pushed out the house and assaulted was the result of her telling Zimmerman to leave her house. Zimmerman’s also called 911 claiming that his girlfriend had gone nuts and that she’s pregnant with his child. Now it’s been said he’s has been ducking and dogging his wife Shellie Zimmerman for months trying to avoid being served divorce papers. Well looks like this was her lucky day she was able to have Zimmerman served his divorce papers behind bars in his solitary cell last night. He was realsed from jail on a $9,000 bond.


The New Word For 2013

We have our new word of the year “Selfie”, this word is the 2013 Oxford Dictionaries word of the year. The publisher of the Oxford Dictionaries says that the use of “Selfie” took a huge jump this past year. The definition of “Selfie” is a self-portrait photograph, most of the time a digital device is used to take a picture of yourself that you us to uploaded to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other sort of social networking website. When you think about, just about it everyone is doing this including, movie stars, music artist heck even populations. The new word of the year “Selfie” bet out twerk, bitcoin, and binge-watch.

Americas Got Talent, well they got Howard Stern for one more season. This morning Stern announced on his radio show that he will be back for one more season as a Americas Got talent judge. Stern stated that it started out as a goof and now it’s a job. He’s very excited about going back. Not sure about the three co-judges but Stren will be back for one more season. On Friday, November 8, one of the strongest typhoons in recorded history caused damages throughout the central islands of the Philippines, killing thousands and wiping out entire villages. The President of the Philippines told CNN that the death toll falls between 2,000 or 2,500 Dead bodies still lay on the ground, there are so many that do not have access to clean water, limited power, food and medical care. The rain fall from a tropical depression has grounded some of the relief flights, roads are blocked and the poor conditions at some of the airports have made it very difficult for help to be delivered. Anxiety and misery among the survivors are rising. It is so bad that woman and even children are begging for donation to the point of exposing there selves to exploitation and abuse. Tupac when I hear his name all I can think about is music and that this he was one of the greatest hip-hop and rap artists to hit the music scene, what was amazing about him is that no rap artist before him sounded like him. He affected so many rap artists, either they tried to be like him or they tried hard not to be like him either way he made an effect on him. Well Tupac fans it’s been a long time coming, originally back in 2011 the Tupac story was going into production until it was place on hold due to a legal battle between Moran Creek the producers / financier and Tupac’s mother Afeni Shakur. The dispute has been settled out of court Shakur is the executive producer of the film an beginning Spring of 2014 the photography on the filming will begin for the Tupac biopic….I cannot wait to see the finished film.

For my upcoming birthday I’m going to call Leonardo DiCaprio because he knows how to really rock a birthday. Turning just the ripe age of 39 Learonda party like a rock star on Sunday till 4am with just 100 of his closest buds as Kanye West and 2Chainz performed Happy Birthday, I would love to hear how that sounded. Rumor has it Kim and Kanye flew in on a private plane to attend the party for just three hours. Lamar Odom “No Charges” 

Lamar Odom will not face criminal charges for his fight last summer with the paparazzo. At an informal hearing with the Los Angeles Attorney’s office the city chose not to press charges but they did advise Lamar on what he needed to do going forward. Although this information is not public yet rumor has it that sources allegedly told TMZ that Lamar agreed to pay for the damages and agree to go to anger management counseling also he would need to stay out of trouble because if he breaks the law again from the time of the confrontation within the year charges would be filled. 

I have a question is anger management the new get out of jail card or slap me on the wrist card. Because maybe if it works for Lamar it will work for Chris Brown, I hope taking the steps to get help is truly legit for both of them.

Rumors have it that allegedly there is no footage of Chris Browns October 29th incident outside of the W in Washington DC. But this is DC right, there are cameras everywhere, but it’s been reported there are still a few more cameras that need to be check, and keep in mind the U.S. Treasury Department is across the street from the W so maybe the footage form there will spread some light on the case.

Music is truly a universal language…….check it out Sunday night was YouTube First video awards. What I think is really cool about the YouTube award show is we the fans vote for the winners. The nominees are selected based on the number views, comments, subscriptions and likes for over a 12 month period and those nominees are voted on by their fans.

There were several categories but the main award is the video of the year and for this year the winner is one of Asia’s biggest musical acts……the South Korean girls group “K-pop” with their video “ Got a Boy. Some have compared this group to Asian’s version of the Spice Girls. “So, you already know I had to peep this video. Now here’s what got me, even though the lyrics were not in English the music was banging, the way dances were choreographed plus the outfits and dance sets made this video so hot I swear I knew what they were singing. I think that having a YouTube awards is one of the coolest things YouTube has done this year. It seems like the days of traditional radio and television maybe be phasing out little by little when it comes to entertainment, videos and music it looks like the internet is about take over.

Camille Grammer you may know her as the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she has placed a restraining order on her boyfriend Dmitri Charalambopoulos. Camille claims she was assaulted and terrorized in her hotel room. The dancer, model and actress states that after women that had started texting Dmitri called him, the two of them got into an argument about the woman. Camille claims that Dmitri grabbed her by her hair and while he was twisting it around his hand he repeatedly forced her head into the beds headboard. She claims when she tried to call for help Dmitri smashed her phone. Camille states that Dmitri shoved his fingers up her nose, covered her mouth with his hand and began slammed her head and face into the furniture repeatedly, this abuse went on for over 40 minutes as she begged him to stop. When he finally did and started to leave she states that Dmitri told her if she moved for the bed he would knock her out. The temporary restraining order is for Dmitri to stay 100 yards from her and her two children.

The man accused of beating Adrian Peterson’s 2-year-old son to death on October 9th was released from jail today. Joseph Patterson was released on a $750,000 bond, Patterson pleaded not quality which lowered the bond from a million dollars. Patterson has been charged with second degree murder and 2 counts of first degree manslaughter and aggravated battery of an infant as well as felony child abuse.

Ok so most have heard of He Say She say.................well in this case it’s a Hey Say, Hey Say. Chris Brown who’s currently on probation for his brutal attack on Rihanna in 2009 was charged with felony assault Sunday October 29th at 4:30AM along with his bodyguard Chris Hollosy outside of the W hotel in Washington, DC. If you recall Browns 2009 probation was temporally revoked because of his hit-and-run that accrued this year, so he was given an additional 1,000 hours of community service. Now according to law enforcement sources they say that Chris Brown allegedly punched a man in his face, broke his nose and knocked him to the ground. Ok, now here’s where the Hey Say, Hey Say comes in. The victim says that he and a buddy were joking around and butted into a photo Brown was taking with two female fans and Chris Brown went ballistic including allegedly making homophobic slur and stating he’s ready to box. However, a close source to Chris Brown states that the accuser is lying and that the accuser was trying to get onto Browns tour bus and Chris Brown bodyguard stepped in to stop him and then the fight broke out. After 36 hours of being in jail Brown and his bodyguard were released and the charges were reduced down to simple assault misdemeanors on Monday afternoon. But keep in mind the simple assault charges they come with a penalty of 180 days in jail and $1, 00.00 fine. Both Brown and his body guard are due in court on November 24th, Browns lawyers stated that the bodyguard was protecting Chris Brown and his property and they will be cleared of any misconduct. Either way this incident may affect Brown's current probation. Chris Brown has a court date for a probation hearing in Los Angles on November 20th for his Rihanna assault which mean this current arrested may lead to his probation being revoked.

I ran across an Indi artist that may me stop and say “My, My, My” his single “In the Mood” well let’s just say when you hear it you will be hooked as well. There’s something about the sound of a piano that brings out the rich tones of a song. Every note that is played seems to reach out and grab you and slowly reel you in. When the vocals mixed in with the piano and the force of the base and each and every additional instrument chimed in, that music mastery was like the sun and the moon causing a musical tidal wave. In the Mood by independent artist Oshy is a musical wave that you should ride. The music is smooth and sensual with a nice mixture of vocals. I could easily see this being played on my local radio station and mixed on the decks of a good DJ.

There’s something magical about the power of good music that can help you escape all that it is negative in replace it with something positive. Spark Middle School in Nevada Shooting

When I first learned of this incident my heart broke and although my son is a teenager I went into his room and hugged him. It was their first day back to school from fall break, the students of Spark Middle School in Nevada waited for the bell to ring for their normal class day to begin. However, nothing with be normal about this day. Police report shortly before 7:15AM Monday morning a 12-year armed with his parents gun entered the school grounds of Spark Middle School and shot one of his fellow classmates in the shoulder, the student continued walking on the school grounds when he encounter a well-loved Math teach and retired Marine Mike Landsberry, it’s reported that the teacher was trying to intervene with the young shooter when he was shot and killed. The student continued walking and came upon a second classmate that he shot in the abdomen, and then the student turned around walked a few feet and then shot and killed himself. The two students that were shot were rushed to the hospital and they both are in stable condition. Mike Landsberry 45, former Nevada National Guard had just celebrated his wedding anniversary last week he is survived by his wife, two stepchildren and his younger brother. The question everyone is asking is ‘Why” the students’ parents of the shooter are working with the police to try to answer that question.

Turning to entertainment news looks like reality TV star Cee Lo Green can sing just a little bit sigh of relief after pleading not guilty to felony charges. A 33-year-old woman accused Cee Lo of slipping her ecstasy while they were dining at a downtown Los Angeles restaurant last year. The unidentified woman claims that Cee lo returned to her hotel room with her and sexually assaulted her. The LA County District Attorney Office concludes that there was not enough evidence to take the case to court. However, prosecutors did slap Cee Lo with one count of furnishing Ecstatic to a female victim; this type of felony charge carries a possible sentence up to four years. Cee Lo bail was set at $30,000 and he’s scheduled to appear in court November 20, 2013 for a preliminary hearing.

The Westin hotel in Southfield I’m sure was set a buzz as producer Don Was and Babyface meet with The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, the trio meet to discuss her new album with Sony Music. This will be Aretha Franklin first major recording label to be released in some years. Styled in her silver fur Aretha played the piano and sang 10-11 songs for Was and Babyface that included Sarah Vaughans “Brokenhearted Melody” Barbra Streisand’s “People” and the jazz song “Teach Me Tonight.” On her upcoming album Aretha will play the piano on her recordings a first since The Queen of Soul Atlantic Records sessions. The album is due to release hopefully in spring of 2014.

Those that know me know I have much respect for DJ’s, I have the honor of working with some of the best DJ’s in Second Life and Real Life. Now I’ve been to several RL clubs and I’ve seen DJ’s take song request I’ve also been to several SL clubs and seen DJ’s also take song request which is a pretty normal process. Most club owners will tell the DJ what type of music they allow at their club so, once that is agreed on the DJ can spin his or her sets As a DJ taking a request for a song is one thing but having someone that’s not the owner or manager of the club demand you play a certain genre is another in South Korea at a night club in Seoul a shirtless Justin Bieber stormed the DJ Booth demanding that DJ Michael Woods spin Hip Hop DJ Woods reports that Justin Bieber came at him with his entourage of security guards halfway through his set that’s like a scene from a movie or video game it was reported that when DJ Woods told Jusitn F # of and put on some cloths Justin took a cheap shot at Woods tour manager and ducked out behind a security wall. However, party host Ben Bailer states no punches were thrown.

Dillinger states that Rockstar Games offered him $4271.00 for the use of the tracks and he turned them down. Twitter has a new update that will bring more spam to your direct messages. You now have the option of allowing followers to send you direct messages even if you do not follow them back. What does that translate to…..advertiser and companies can now send direct messages to anyone.


Perhaps that’s what Madonna was texting about when she was recently was banned form a New York Film festival for the premier of “12 Years a Slave” at the Drafthouse theater in Austin Texas. According to the films website when film critic Charles Taylor asked the Queen of pop to stop she replied it’s for work Enslaver. The owner of the Drafthouse theater states that the ban will be lifted once Madonna apologies to the movie fans.

It all began with Futures interview with Billboard magazine, Future stated that his album is better than Drake, can we say not a good idea well Drake sure didn't think so and he kicked Future off his upcoming tour one source stated Dark told his agent either Future gets fired or he’ll fire him. Drake’s tour is schedule to start this month on 18th in Pittsburgh and if you go on to ticket master you will see that Future’s name has been removed.

When you flip on our television and watch your favorite show, perhaps you think to yourself the actors on the show have it made. From the outside looking in their life can look glamour’s but once the camera stops roll for some the pain begins. Coroner’s released there official report that 29 year old actor Lee Thompson Young of Rizzoli & Isles whom was found  dead in his apartment on Aug 19^th died from self-inflicted gunshot wound to head. Those close to Young state that he had a history of bipolar disorder. Many may remember Lee Thompson Young from his roles on the Disney Channel as Jett Jackson, Smallville as Victor Stone aka Cyborg and his 3 years on TNT Rizzoli & Isles. I’m a fan of Rizzoli & Isles, heart breaks for Lee Thompson Young family, friends and co-workers.

Miley Cyrus has been on a crusade; reinventing her public persona with a vengeance……Just this weekend while hosting the Saturday Night Live show Miley announced Hannah Montana was "murdered." Well Hannah Montana may be dead in Miley Cyrus eyes but the creator of the charter Richard Correll he states that “the charter will live on as long as there are re-runs.” Richard also committed that when the time dose comes the Hannah Montana character will pass away of old age with her grand kids and family around her.

Steven Spielberg has a new television series that will air on CBS called “Extant” the TV series will star….drum roll please…. Halle Berry. Berry will portray an astronaut who returns home after a year-long mission in space. Her charter will struggle to reconnect with her son and husband as she tries to deal with her experiences in space that change the course of human history.

Speaking of astronauts…. this weekend Warner Brother pictures “Gravity” starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney racked up over $55 millinon which is record for October. The film also earned a Thumbs-up from 98 percent of the nation’s critics according to the rottentomatoes.com survey site. Gravity is a 3D space thriller where a medical engineers and an astronaut are the survivors of a damaged Space Shuttle, and they must work together to survive a drifted in space. My tip if you’re going to see Gravity this week, watch it at a IMAX theater to get the full effect

In real life music is a universal langue that reaches across the globe. In the 3D virtual world of Second Life music travels through the grind like a river. This musical river stops at different clubs as it splashes it rhythmic water on everyone it encounters. When a Second Life resident teleports into a virtual club or lounge they begin their music journey of sight and sound. In Second Life a musical journey begins with the club or lounge and the journey is directed by the DJ. When the atmosphere is inviting and the music is banging, the party will be epic.

As I walked up the stairs to the bar the music greeted me with a smile and pulled me in like a magnet.  As the rich sounds of Old School filled the air, it took me back to a place in time where life was easy, laidback and carefree. As the music washed over me I attached my favorite dance HUD while DJ Cecil Jarman aka Smooth Jazz Male aka CJ the DJ poured out music like Cristal.

If you’re looking for a bar that will have you floating on a party cloud the all new “SKY BAR” is the spot for you. The crowd was popping and the beautiful CJ Line Dancers were on fire keeping the atmosphere pulsating.

Set Sail

There’s nothing more peaceful then the sound of water as a sailboats glides through a Second Life ocean. For those that want a more “hands on deck” experience, operating a sailboat in Second Life is not only an adventure it’s entertaining. As in real life, to be a captain of your sailboat it would be helpful to know how to navigate a map. I love to sail in Second Life and my navigation skills are still in the learning process. I advise all that board a sailboat with me to bring a snack because we will get lost and to open their mini map and help navigate our way through the oceans of Second Life. As the captain of your sailboat you will need to hoist and trim your mainsails to catch the wind and yes Second Life have wind that makes your sailboat move.

One of my favorite places to sail is on the Blake Sea in Second Life. I have a large variety of sailboats that I love sail one is what some have called my “Cadillac” sailboat, the MLCC Loonetta 31 by Motor Loon. This beautiful Mesh crafted sailboat is a must have but don’t take my word for it, checkout in-world.

I remember the rain pouring down as it softly kissed the ballistic glass windows of the observation room. Looking out from the windows, streaks of lightning flickered in the distance. The brilliant streaks of light were like two lovers meeting on a dance floor as they intertwined against the black sky. Every time it rains it always seems to make us feel safe as we fade into a deep peacefully sleep. After all they promised us we would be safe here, they swore the infection would not breach the walls of our safe zone. After a year of trying to survive in a world where the living is a minority, those promises were like sweet nectar to our ears.

As I drifted off to sleep on my cot next to my brother, the screams begin. I knew that sound oh so well, it was the sound of fear, the sound one makes when teeth are plunged deep into ones skin. Those screams rang through the observation facility like a fire drill of fear. They were here, somehow they got in, I turned to brother to wake him, but he was already standing with his backpack on and his MP5 pointed towards the screams. He looked back at me for a brief moment, his words sharp and forceful “you know the drill, gear up!”
